Corrections
Public log of corrections, factual updates, and editorial changes to Prediction Market Tools. We log every meaningful change to a published guide here — what was wrong, what it now says, and the date. Spot something else? Tell us.
Added primary-source citation array to Article schema
The page already linked to CFTC and platform documentation in the Sources section, but the Article JSON-LD was missing the corresponding citation property. Added five CreativeWork references (CFTC DCM order, KalshiEX v. CFTC ruling, Kalshi help center, Polymarket docs, Dune Analytics) so the citation graph is machine-readable for AI engines.
Replaced "you@example.com" placeholder text in the form input
The contact form rendered a literal "you@example.com" placeholder which read like a real recipient address. Replaced with the more conventional "name@yourdomain.com" so the form input visibly belongs to the user, not to us.
- Site-wide
Replaced anonymous "Editorial Team" / "PM Tools Research Desk" bylines with a named human author (Simon Stern)
Earlier versions of the site attributed editorial content to anonymous desk bylines. This was inconsistent with the actual editorial process — every guide is written or reviewed by Simon Stern. Bylines and Person schema now carry the named author with verifiable sameAs profiles (X, GitHub, YouTube, PredictTO, simonstern.ca).
We don't silently rewrite content. Substantive edits to a published guide get a dated entry on this page. Typo and styling fixes are not logged.
